Roger Richardson (left), embraces his son, Sgt. Daniel Richardson, of the 1st Sqaudrant, 89th Cavalry Regiment, as other families also gathered in the Magrath Gym to welcome home their beloved 10th Mountain Division soldiers from 15 months in Iraq at an evening ceremony held at Fort Drum. Unfortunately the reunion was short-lived. Daniel died unexpectedly after being home from Iraq.
