Peter Braunstein being escorted by NYPD detectives out of Police Headquarters on Poplar Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee, on December 19, 2005. Braunstein was a writer who became infamous for committing a sexual assault to a woman on Halloween of 2005 all while dressed as an imposter firefighter. Eventually he lead police on a multi-state manhunt which upon his capture he caused a self-inflicted injury by stabbing himself in the neck.
